- Uploader: predator@netcom.com
- Author: Clark Williams
- Type: text/
-
- Two files (MakePhraseFile and MakeIndex) which can be installed
- as macros under ProWrite and which may be used to generate an Index for
- your documents. Tested on A2500, A3000, A4000 thru WB 3.1.

-
- To Use:
- First install MakePhraseFile as a macro (see the owners manual for
- ProWrite). Second install MakeIndex as a macro. I have installed
- MakePhraseFile as macro 1 and MakeIndex as macro 10.
-
- Now go thru your document and highlight the words you wish to have included
- in the index you are generating. Once you highlight a single word (or
- a phrase) press the Shift F1 key to include the word (or phrase) into the
- phrase file.
-
- Once you have completed the generation of the phrase file, and with the
- document you want to index still open and active, press the shift F10 key.
- You will be presented with an index of your phrase file (it sometimes will
- take a while [because seemingly ARexx I/O is awfully slow]).
-
- Thats it!
